Please note, reliable transportation is a must for this position and while many of our Madison and Milwaukee area client's reside on/near a bus line, it may be challenging to use public transportation to perform your job.

Part-Time Direct Service Provider Position Description
The primary responsibility of a Direct Service Provider is to develop a relationship with an individual child who is challenged by the diagnosis of Autism. In developing a relationship with a child, you will in turn be helping that child develop the necessary skills to form relationships with others. A playful and engaging attitude is a must.
Must be at least 18 years old* Must have high school diploma* Must have reliable transportation Part time position --- New hires start with 6-12 hours per week Minimum of 6 hours/week in 2-3 hour shifts Prior experience preferred but not necessary** Paid training
As noted in the "Letter to Applicants" above, our clients need consistent team members who will stay on the team for an extended period of time. We ask new hires to commit to a minimum of 6 monthson the job following their training. If you can not commit to 6 months with our agency, please do not apply for the position.

** Training is provided by IDS clinical staff via internet, clinic-based training modules, and 1:1 training in clients' homes. Applicants with no prior experience must complete 40 hours of paid training before working alone with a child.
